              In 1969, Maurice got up in the middle of the night and started playing at the piano. No words came to mind, just a soft melody. He and his brothers were working on the Odessa album at the time and even though this track was not a single, it stands out amoung the many songs that they have done over the years. I've decided to add this non-vocal song here because I find it to be the best thing Maurice has ever done. His talent went far beyond Bee Gees music and Cucumber Castle comedy. The Seven Seas Symphony is presented here in several formats, all free for downloading, but I do strongly suggest buying Odessa when you can. Though this song was made almost 35 years before his death, it shows that Maurice was truly in a class by himself and he was not the man in the middle.
